Pebbair is surrounded by the villages of Kanchirav Palli, Mala pally, Kista Reddy Peta and Rangapur.
Pebbair is a major Grama Panchayithi, having 27 villages, and 15 schools, including two junior colleges. Recently, a college offering Bachelor of Education degrees and Model School were sanctioned.

Near Pebbair is a famous Devastanam, called Beechupalli, 10 km away from Pebbair. Beechpalli is surrounded by the Krishna River. In the middle of the river there is an historical hill (konda) called Nizam Konda, which was at one time a fort. The movie Kondaveeti Raja of Chiranjeevi was filmed there. Two Temples are located at Beechupally Lord Sri Rama and Lord Hanuman Temples.
From Pebbair 10 K.M away another village is located named Sri Rangapur, famous for the Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple, where movies such as AADI, and Chenna keshava Reddy were filmed.

In our Village every year people celebrates Chowdeshwari Jatara.
Pebbair is on the way of National Highway No (Earlier 7) 44, which is the longest highway in India connecting Varanasi to kanyakumari.

Mahabub Nagar is one of the main districts in Andhra Pradesh which is located at a distance of 96-km from Hyderabad.
It is surrounded by the Nalgonda, Kurnool, Raichur and Gulbarga districts and River Krishna borders it in the south. With its headquarters at Mahabubnagar, the other important towns in the district are Achampet, Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Jadcherla, Nagarkurnool, Shadnagar, Kothakota, Atmakur, Devarakadra, Pebbair and Kalwakurthy.
మహబూబ్ నగర్ was formerly known as "Rukmammapeta" "రుక్మమ్మపేట" and "Palamooru" " పాలమూరు".
The previous name was changed to Mahabub Nagar on 4th December 1890, in honor of Mir Mahbub Ali Khan Asaf Jah VI, the Nizam of Hyderabad (1869-1911 AD). It has been the headquarters of the district from1883 AD.
The Mahabub Nagar Region was once known as Cholawadi or the 'land of the Cholas'.
It is believed that the famed Golconda diamonds including the world famous "Kohinoor" diamond came from Our district.
