The tournament was won by India who defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final. India became the first nation to win a World Cup final on home soil.Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 91*,Ghambir 97 supurb Knock in the final and DHONI was adjudged the man of the match,Yuvraj Singh was declared the man of the tournament. OUR TEAM IS DEDICATED THIS CUP TO MASTER SACHIN AND ALL INDIANS.
